A Sampler of Birds from Around the World

A Sampler of Birds from Around the World

The National Park Service & Friends of Fort Vancouver National Historic Site welcome Pamela Gunn presenting “A Sampler of Birds from Around the World.”

Ms. Gunn is a birder and photographer who has traveled throughout the world capturing birds in photos from China, to Trinidad to Arizona!  Please join us for this free presentation. Ms. Gunn travels extensively capturing photos of birds in their native habitats and her home is here on Officers’ Row.

This is Ms. Gunn’s second presentation at the Fort Vancouver Visitor Center. Last month she presented birds of the national park, some of which were first identified for the world by Americans and Europeans at Fort Vancouver. Our site was home to naturalists from around the world such as Lewis & Clark, David Douglas, Thomas Nuttall, John Kirk Townsend and Charles Bendire.

Please join us for this free presentation!
